Just a quick post to stay on top of this… nintendo’s conference just concluded, and I have to say, lackluster graphics aside, I’m very impressed with their offering. Like they did with the DS, they’re taking an innovative step forward within the confines of proven stability. The controller looks robust, and a whole lot more fun than a gimmick. There is motion sensing in the nunchuck portion as well as the wiimote, and a built in speaker in the controller (in addition to rumble) for added immersion. That, and the games look very fun, and very easy to pick up and party with.
Will try to look at this a little more in depth later, but first to wait patiently for microsoft’s moment in the sun.
