For my first posting on Interscription I will open up with an article detailing my complete disgust toward Nintendo and their Wii system. I find the Wii to be a disgrace to all that is gaming. It’s rapid sales and world wide dominance is only a testament to how idiotic people can be. The minute you make this statement, millions will argue that 8.2 million people can’t be wrong. Well, I disagree. Look at how many people bought Brittany Spears albums and you can see that Millions upon Millions of people can be very, very, very wrong. I have no problem with the purchase of a Wii for any child under the age of 13. Also, if you are a soccer mom over the age of 45 the Wii is most likely the system for you. As for everyone else in between, I hope you are a 13 year old school girl, in which case I can let it slide. The Wii as a platform is good for one thing, and one thing only. You buy it, spend the extra $50 to mod it, then never by another game for it for all eternity.

PS3 rocks! (Seriously)
I’m sure most folks that know me and my historical loyalties in the console wars (it still amazes me that there is such a thing) will probably think I’ve gone off the deep end, dashing liberal amounts of mercury on my scrambled eggs and wearing rabbit skin elbow warmers during mid-afternoon showers. But it’s true, ladies and germs. The PS3 is a formidable piece of hardware.
Microsoft E3 Press Conference Thoughts
There’s a literall deluge of coverage out there on the Internet, folks, so I’m definitely not going to waste time with a blow-by-blow. I figured it might be best to do a breakdown of the event into three categories, namely: Impressive, Garbage, and Huh? Without further adieu…
Live Anywhere, or how to F*** something so good up so very bad.
Circuit City has become a great store. It seems like every week they have some unbeatable sale going on, and in my opinion, they’ve quickly become the top national retailer for a lot of electronics things, if not the top, than certainly my favorite. I have them to thank for my 250.00 Polk RM 6800 open box (MSRP 849.95)
And my LCDTV, amongst other niceties.
