There’s a literall deluge of coverage out there on the Internet, folks, so I’m definitely not going to waste time with a blow-by-blow.  I figured it might be best to do a breakdown of the event into three categories, namely: Impressive, Garbage, and Huh?  Without further adieu…

Impressive…Most Impressive

 -          Disney movies on Marketplace

 -          Mass Effect looked great

 -          Lost Odyssey looked great

 -          Assassin’s Creed looked…pretty great

 -          Call of Duty 4 was ridiculous

Garbage: 

 -          SceneIt!

 -          Gears on PC

 -          GTA4 trailer that we’ve already seen

 -          Madden 08…thanks for your support, Reggie Bush.

-          Most of the Games for Windows stuff (Crysis still looks crazy though)

-          Rock Band…*sigh*

Um…huh?

 -          Why didn’t you announce that the Blue Dragon demo was live?

 -          Why didn’t you show the Too Human trailer?  (See it…not as hot as Killzone 2, but oh…my…friggin’…Lord…)

 -          Why didn’t you play up the fact that theater releases will be on Video Marketplace?

Not a complete failure…but close.    What were your thoughts?
