Wii Bash 2007

For my first posting on Interscription I will open up with an article detailing my complete disgust toward Nintendo and their Wii system.  I find the Wii to be a disgrace to all that is gaming. It’s rapid sales and world wide dominance is only a testament to how idiotic people can be. The minute you make this statement, millions will argue that 8.2 million people can’t be wrong. Well, I disagree.  Look at how many people bought Brittany Spears albums and you can see that Millions upon Millions of people can be very, very, very wrong. I have no problem with the purchase of a Wii for any child under the age of 13. Also, if you are a soccer mom over the age of 45 the Wii is most likely the system for you. As for everyone else in between, I hope you are a 13 year old school girl, in which case I can let it slide. The Wii as a platform is good for one thing, and one thing only. You buy it, spend the extra $50 to mod it, then never by another game for it for all eternity.

As far as the console wars go I do not believe the Wii belongs in the race at all. It’s like a grocery store stating that they sell more apples than the construction company next door sells bricks……Whogivesaphuck! Wii people and PS3/360 people are not the same. The Wii is not a gaming console, it’s a toaster oven with a high gloss finish. Everyone purchasing a Wii made a rushed decision based on cost.  The Wii is a Regular Xbox with a fancy controller. When you think about purchasing a Wii consider the fact that you can buy a regular Xbox at Amazon.com for around $70. Which brings me to the conclusion of my first posting! The Wii is more of a rip off then either the 360 or the PS3. At least you’re getting what you pay for on both the MS and Sony systems.

In closing I welcome any and all challengers to comment on my article. I love a good argument or heated discussion so bring it. And Yes I’m calling you a little school girl if you own a Wii! Gigadee Gigadee Go F%#%$# yourself Nintendo!

I never bought a Wii because I saw it at a friends and was not impressed. I didn’t think it looked or performed any better than a PS2 or even my Xbox. I certainly don’t need a wireless control to get my fishing fix. Lame, lame, lame. I have loved Nintendo from original NES all the way through the N64. Since then, game boy only for me!
