Recently, I had posted about what I thought to be a terribly unimaginative motion controller plan for the Xbox 360 from the powers that be. Recently, Teamxbox posted a follow-up story to the initial speculation, and I wanted to make sure to pass this along.
Right off the bat, I am MUCH more comfortable with this version (if the patent in the Teamxbox article is to be believed) than the one initially shared. (It was essentially an exact replica of the Wiimote). It actually looks pretty comfortable, and I could think of lots of different interesting applications for this that don’t carbon-copy the Wii’s approach. I’ll keep my ear to the ground and pass along any tidbits I hear.
