2.5 + 3.0 = (first) Half of 2008?
OK, so I promise this will be the last thing I post about the Spring Dashboard Update for 2008…today.
I would like to call attention to two different Entertainment Division-flavored updates:
The Zune 2.5 update, released earlier this week, and the XNA Studio 3.0 CTP, released earlier today. Isn’t it interesting that these two releases dropped this week? As a related piece of information, the 2007 Spring Dashboard Update was released almost exactly this week last year.
While the Zune update is obviously Zune-related, it’s also interesting that the XNA CTP also enables Zune game development. Is this possibly suggesting some further Zune integration with the 360 when we get our Spring update?
As if I wasn’t already, I’d keep my ear to the ground for some Spring Dashboard update news coming out VERY SOON. Just sayin’…
