Life can be hard for a Windows Mobile Fanboy. The Iphone and Android have both stepped up to the plate with extremely smooth web browsing experiences that are touch-friendly and well-implemented. Meanwhile, the version of Internet Explorer on our phones (and even the new version coming out with WM 6.5), barely passes the tolerance test. Luckily, Windows Mobile users have a solid collection of third-party browsers to pick up the slack. Now that I’m settling into my Treo Pro, I decided I’d take a bunch of these for a spin and see where we end up.
From the dangers of Xbox Modding repercussion.
Be forewarned.. this video contains a ton of foul language.. and Hitler.
I’ve stumbled on an interesting little hack for the Xbox 360 that I thought I’d share with the Xbox-360-toting Interscription readership…installing a custom 120GB hard drive on your Xbox 360!
– Here is the link to all the gritty details –
A few natural disclaimers: this will clearly void your Xbox 360 hard drive warranty, and may even breach the warranty for the Xbox 360 itself if my instincts are correct, so if those sorts of things are important to you, I’d be a bit weary. There is also nothing to state that Microsoft won’t ban your console from Live if they deem it “modded”. While this point is less likely, it’s probably much less of a possibility considering the lack of “cheating” any system outside of the exorbitant peripheral economy that Microsoft has created.
Happy hunting, and let me know your experience in the comments!
Assassin’s Creed is a great game. It’s one of my favorites from the last couple of years actually. Well, in the most recent issue of Game Informer, there’s a story that gives out a good chunk of details about the upcomiong sequel. From the sound of it, Ubisoft Montreal has managed to take a lot that worked on the first game and refine it to make a game that sounds as if it has the potential to be better.
In AC2, the setting has moved from the Middle East in the 12th century, to Italy in the 15th century. This time, you play as Ezio Auditore de Firenze, who has a very different background from Altair in the first game. Ezio is a young noble and a member of a powerful Italian Noble family, and his journey to becoming an assassin I’m sure will be interesting to see. Ubisoft is of course keeping a lot of the details under wraps right now, but just some of the new features that I’ve read about have definitely put AC2 firmly onto the Must Play list…
Everything I’ve read about the game suggests to me that Assassin’s Creed 2 will be just as good, if not better than the original, and that’s definitely something worthy of attention. If you want to check out the full story, just look for the May issue of Game Informer…
